A 12-hour brownout will be experienced in parts of Iloilo province on Saturday, June 6.

The scheduled power service interruption will start at 6 a.m. until 6 p.m

In its advisory, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said the hours-long outage is due to “replacement of overhead guy wire.”

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience brought by the scheduled power interruption.
Power may be restored earlier than or as scheduled, so please consider all lines and equipment energized at all times.”
