At least 13 cruise ships are expected to visit Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan this 2024.
Niven Maquirang, executive assistant of Governor Jose Enrique, said these cruise ships are carrying international passengers.
Last month, the world-famous island welcomed MV Resorts World One with more than 1,600 passengers.
This February, three cruise ships are scheduled to arrive in Boracay and another three in March.
Other cruise ships are set to dock in Boracay in April (1), October (1), November (1), and December (3).
Maquirang said the provincial government will build a cruise ship port in Caticlan.
