The 2025 Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan, one of the highlights of the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival, will gather nine tribes.
The tribes, representing their municipal festivals, are set to compete on Jan. 25 next year, showcasing the “Fun, Foodie, Friendly” offerings of the province of Iloilo.
These competing tribes are from Maasin (Tultugan Festival), Calinog (Hirinugyaw-Suguidanonay Festival), Leon (Kaing Festival), Anilao (Banaag Festival, Cabatuan (Tinuom Festival), Dumangas (Haw-as Festival), Igbaras (Tangyan Festival), New Lucena (The Cry of Jelicuon Festival), and San Rafael (Tawili Festival).
Last week, the tribes gave a preview of their performances during the Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan 2025 Grand Launching at SM City Iloilo.
The 2025 Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan is hosted by the Iloilo Provincial Government. It is in partnership with the Iloilo City Government and the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI).
In the 2024 edition of the competition, Maasin’s Tultugan Festival clinched the championship title. The festival also represented the province in this year’s Aliwan Fiesta and won second place.IMT
