The number of patients who recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the province of Iloilo continued to increase.
The Department of Health (DOH-6) confirmed on Friday, April 17, the recovery of another COVID-19 patient from the town of Guimbal
Dr. Sophia Pulmones, DOH-6 spokesperson, said the latest recovered patient is a 51-year-old female.
“Amo na sya si WV18 kag close contact na sya ni WV2,” she said.
WV2 is a 65-year-old male from the same town. He is the first recovery in the province.
The other COVID-19 survivor in Iloilo is a 22-year-old female from Miagao.
There are currently 16 confirmed cases of the viral disease in the province, including 4 deaths.
In Iloilo City, the number of COVID-19 cases remained at 5, including 1 death and 1 recovery.IMT
