The province of Antique remains to have the lowest number of confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Western Visayas.
Based on the Nov. 19 bulletin released by the Department of Health (DOH-6), the province registered 77 cases of COVID-19, of which 71 have recovered and 1 has died.
Antique’s active cases currently stand at 5. These involved patients who are still infected with COVID-19.
Aklan has the second lowest number of cases with 195, followed by Guimaras with 206, and Capiz with 995.
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 5,309, followed by Bacolod City (5,309), Iloilo City (4,267), and Iloilo province (2,486).
All in all, Western Visayas logged 18,727 cases of COVID-19. The figure includes 16,363 recoveries, 498 deaths and 1,866 active cases.IMT
