Showing the entire repertoire, Barotac Nuevo Central Elementary School and Barotac Nuevo National Comprehensive High School ruled the football and futsal events of the Iloilo Schools Sports Council Meet 2025 over the weekend.

Representing CDSA 4, the Barotac Nuevo booters captured the titles in the elementary and secondary divisions at the Iloilo Sports Complex. The squad claimed the elementary division crown after a 2-0 victory over Santa Barbara (CDSA 2). 

Sebastian Iñigo Araneta and Jashan Myar Unipa steered the team, alongside Saragem Niño Baylosis, Asher Barrios, John Laurence Benedicto, Nijel James Cagampang, Justine Doctora, Lemuel Hervas Jr., Marvin Lestingio, Marcus Anton Tupas, and John Louie Rosquillo.

Substitute players included Carl John Aguilar, Marc Jhanrie Betco, Argie Rake Besana, Nicolo Xebastien Biñas, Jan Angelo Deñola, Clark Matthew Lianza, and James Ryan Hervas. They were coached by Samson Flores Jr. and Ariel Bedic with Nigel Montaño as trainer.

Meanwhile, Barotac Nuevo National Comprehensive High School blanked Santa Barbara in the secondary boys football finals, 1-0.

Vincent Ardeloso was the lone goal scorer for Barotac Nuevo in the second half. He was supported by teammates Joshua Lorenz Alvior, Gian Carlo Abalo, Edrian Ralph Barcelona, Alwin Bretaña, Kian Bela-ong, JL Cananga, Jhon Carlo Gomez, Welvin Villacastin, Joshua Dumdumaya, and John Gaverza.

Substitute players were Ulric Gabriel Latoza, Eljan Bela-ong, J.A. Delariarte, Nikho Chavez, Raphael Von Siaotong, Jake Hervas, and Rigel Bearneza. Coaches are Japheth Buenlatrona and Nigel Belecion with Erie Hernalim as trainer.

Meanwhile, Barotac Nuevo National Comprehensive High School (CDSA 4) also showed way in the girls futsal event, dominating Santa Barbara (CDSA 2) in the championship match, 6-0.

The three teams successfully booked their tickets for WVRAA Meet for a chance to represent the region in the prestigious Palarong Pambansa.IMT
