Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan saw an increase in tourist arrivals in the first two weeks of 2025.
The Malay Boracay Tourism Office recorded a total of 97,580 visitors from January 1 to 15 this year.
The figure was higher by 15 percent compared to 83, 497 visitors in the same period last year.
Of the latest number, 72, 904 were local tourists, 22,158 were foreigners, and 2,517 were overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) or overseas Filipinos (OFs).
Boracay is known for its powdery white sand and crystal clear waters.IMT
