Electricity rates in Capiz decreased for three consecutive months.
Capiz Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAPELCO), in its advisory, said the rate in August was P10.6325 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), lower by P1.63 per kWh compared to July’s P 11.1924 per kWh.
In September, the rate was P9.9473 per kWh, down by P0.69 compared to August’s rate.
This month, the rate per kWh is P 9.5616, lower by P 0.39 per kWh.
Engineer Edgar Diaz, CAPELCO general manager, said that the power interruptions that took place in Roxas City and the province of Capiz were caused by preventive maintenance activities conducted by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).IMT
