Named Player of the Game, Deanna Wong did not disappoint her fans after accumulating 24 excellent sets, carrying her team to the semifinals as the no. 2 seed.
In an interview, Wong said the teamwork and the system really worked for their squad. “We’ll do our best in the semis and let’s see what happens.”
Moreover, Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin said they are happy with the results of the game, especially that they dictated the tempo in the first two sets.
“Thankful kami saperformance kasi kami talaga an nag-dictate ng tempo sa first two sets. Sa third set andun din kami, medyo kumapit din ng bandang huli ang team. Lahat ng gusto naming mangyari nakuha namin.”
Meanwhile, playing impressively, Eya Laure finished with 15 points, Mylene Paat added eight markers, while llonggas Princess Anne Robles and Ma. Shaya Adorador combined for 12 markers as the Crossovers dropped to an 8-3 card.
Meanwhile, Nxled Chameleons wrapped up their maiden PVL conference with a 25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 25-17 triumph over Farm Fresh Foxies, as they ended up with a 4-7 record.
Camille Victoria finished the game with 17 points, including 12 on attacks and five blocks, to lead the Foxies while showcasing her versatility by shifting from opposite spiker to middle blocker.IMT Sports
