Iloilo and the rest of Western Visayas will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms this week.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said light to moderate winds from the east to northeast will prevail over the region from Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, to Thursday, Jan. 2020.
No low pressure areas (LPAs) or other weather disturbances, according to the weather bureau, are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) in the remaining days of 2019.
“Wala tayong inaasahan na mabubuong bagyo o low pressure area sa loob ng ating Philippine area of responsibility,” weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Ursula, the last tropical cyclone to hit the country this year, exited PAR Saturday morning.
