The number of persons infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Iloilo has started to decline.
There are now only 11 coronavirus-positive persons in the province and city, the latest Department of Health (DOH-6) data showed.
On Saturday, April 25, the province recorded six new COVID-19 survivors, the highest single-day increase so far.
The latest recoveries are from Lambunao (4) and Pavia (2). The earlier reported survivors are from Guimbal (2) and Miagao (1).
All in all, the province has nine recovered patients.
Meanwhile, four have died from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
The total of recoveries and deaths is included in the 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded in the province.
In Iloilo City, the number of positive cases totalled seven, including two recoveries and one death.
The remaining three infected patients in the metropolis are currently undergoing treatment.
Last week (April 20-26), the province recorded two new cases while the city registered one new case.
