“Our medical technologists from MHO had already collected specimen to their recorded contact s and I request further that all contact of the patient should be tested,” Gorriceta added.

According to the mayor, the couple (50-year-old husband and 53-year-old wife) residing in a subdivision had close contact with the deceased COVID-19 patient from Mandurriao in Iloilo City.

The patients, who are currently under home quarantine, are asymptomatic.

Gorriceta assured that the LGU is “taking care of all essential services behind the scene.”

“We are together in this fight. I will do my best to protect all of you but please follow all the rules and guidelines which the LGU has issued,” he said.
