CPU grad in Top 10 of Sept. 2023 electrical engineers board exam

An alumnus of Central Philippine University (CPU) in Iloilo City is among the topnotchers in the September 2023 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination.

Kevin Ignacio Ilarina ranked eighth with a rating of 88.05 percent, based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Sept. 8.

“Sa kasadya ko man, ginhambalan ko lagi si tatay kag si nanay ko nga may engineer na sila nga bata. Ako ang pinakuna nila nga engineer,” he said in an interview over radio station RMN-Iloilo.

Another top achiever was a graduate of Capiz State University. Christian Degala Huenda claimed the Top 3 spot with a score of 90.65 percent.

A total of 1,218 out of the 3,945 examinees passed the board exam given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in 18 areas including Iloilo.IMT
