Creation of University of St. La Salle – Iloilo underway

The establishment of the University of St. La Salle’s (USLS) campus in the town of Pavia, Iloilo is underway.

USLS recently signed a memorandum of agreement and deeds of donation with Property Company of Friends, Inc. (Profriends) for its second campus in Western Visayas.

“This partnership with Profriends opens new avenues for educational opportunities and community development, allowing us to better serve the needs of the region,” said USLS president Br. Joaquin Severino Martinez FSC DMin.

The Iloilo campus “will introduce business programs that align with its Lasallian mission of teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.”

The official launch of USLS-Iloilo is set on October 7. It is expected to be attended by key university administrators, partners from Profriends, and representatives from local government units.

USLS, a Catholic educational institution, was founded in Bacolod City by the De La Salle Brothers in 1952.IMT
