Tickets for the Tribes Competition, the highlight of the Dinagyang Festival 2025, are now sold out.
This was announced by the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc (IFFI) on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
This year’s edition of the world-renowned festival will showcase eight tribes from different schools and barangays in Iloilo City.
The competing tribes are Tribu Hangaway, Tribu Ilonganon, Tribu Molave, Tribu Paghidaet, Tribu Pag-asa Kang Mandurriao, Tribu Pan-ay, Tribu Parianon, and Tribu Salognon. They will perform on Jan. 26.
Last year, Tribu Pan-ay of Fort San Pedro National High School was adjudged overall champion.
Tribu Paghidaet of La Paz National High School and Tribu Ilonganon of Jalandoni Memorial National High School finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
Meanwhile, tickets for the Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan 2025 are still available. Those interested to watch can purchase tickets online at dinagyangtickets.com.
The Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan is on Jan. 25. It will feature nine festivals from various towns in Iloilo province.IMT
