The Department of Justice (DOJ) scored a perfect 100% resolution and compliance rating in the latest scorecard from the Office of the President’s 8888 Citizens’ Complaint Center.
Between January 1 and October 31, 2024, the DOJ received 205 tickets through the 8888 Citzens’ Complaint Center and successfully resolved all of them within the prescribed 72-hour timeframe.
The Complaint Center was established to provide a platform for citizens to report issues such as red tape, delays in government services, or other concerns involving national government agencies, government-owned or -controlled corporations, and other government instrumentalities.
“Guided by the principles of a Bagong Pilipinas, this is another remarkable accomplishment for the DOJ which is a testament that we are serious in delivering justice for all in real time,” said Secretary Boying Remulla.
The Department of Justice Action Center, led by Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez and Program Director Joan Carla Guevarra, serves as the focal unit for addressing concerns and complaints submitted through the 8888 platform.IMT
