Five intoxicated men involved in separate incidents were arrested in Iloilo City on Sunday, May 17.
Cops detained three drinking buddies after the latter engaged in a fistfight in Barangay Taft North, Mandurriao district.
The Mandurriao Police Station identified the three as Jestoni Miradones, 18, Isturmino Umaque, 28, and Rodel Cordero, 40.
Barangay Kagawad Robert Estandarte said the incident took place at around 4:30 p.m.
In La Paz district, two men were arrested at around 6 p.m. for public scandal.
The two, identified as Denie Ilamas, 24, of Barangay Lipata, Barotac Viejo and Rex Dela Peña, 43, of Zone 3, Burgos, La Paz, are currently detained.
The La Paz Police Station said an “alarm and scandal” case will be filed against Ilama and Peña.
