Residents of different towns in the Fourth District of Iloilo province were delighted by the effort of Congressman Raul “Boboy” Tupas to personally visit them and listen to their concerns.
During his visit to Anilao, Tupas received a warm reception from the town’s residents. He said he was grateful and touched by their outpouring love and support for his vice gubernatorial bid.
According to the veteran lawmaker, the positive response given by the public is a big thing for him as this inspires him to do better as a public servant despite the noise of politics.
In Dumangas and Barotac Nuevo, Tupas was welcomed by thousands of residents during his campaign sorties with former Police Major Charlie Sustento, who is running for congressman of the Fourth District.
Earlier this week, the congressman from the Fifth District visited Banate, Dingle and San Enrique where he had conversations with market vendors and buyers. He said it is very important to interact with them to know and understand their sentiments.
Though his visits were short, Tupas described them as very productive. He was very thankful to the people of the Fourth District for their words of support and encouragement.
