The government plans to collaborate with the private sector to improve internet connectivity, including potential partnerships with telecommunications companies.
In a recent briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro emphasized the government’s commitment to bringing internet infrastructure to remote areas.
She cited the importance of reliable internet to improve people’s lives.
“Nowadays, using the internet is not just a luxury – it’s a necessity. If we can improve the access of all the Filipino people to internet, it will definitely improve the livelihood—not only the livelihood, even the intellectual capacity of every Filipino,” according to her.IMT
