Justice Secretary Boying Remulla guessed that “billions” are spent in protecting dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo.
“I have no idea. But, I guess it would be in the billions,” Remulla told reporters.
“Marami siyang support na talagang, ewan ko kung saan nanggagaling.”
Remulla also said he had not been approached to help Guo.
“Hindi yan nature ko. At saka, kilala ako ng tao, walang makakalapit sa akin,” he added.
Earlier, former Senator Panfilo Lacson revealed in a radio interview that his Filipino-Chinese friend was allegedly offered P1 billion to help Guo with her legal problems.IMT
