Ilongga beauties Dorothy Marie Gemillan and Vanessa Ann Ka’Ihilani Caro made it to the Top 32 of Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
The two, who went through a total of six online challenges, will compete on stage on April 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Gemillan, a nursing student, and Caro, an accountancy and finance graduate, are representing Iloilo City and Iloilo province, respectively.
Starting next week, the top 32 official candidates will undergo pre-pageant events and activities, leading to the preliminaries of the swimsuit, evening gown, and national costume competitions.
Francheska Alexine Dadivas of Roxas City, Jona Sweett of Aklan, and Shanelyn Bayson of Victorias City, Negros Occidental are also among the finalists.
The finals night will be hosted by Miss Universe queens Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Iris Mittenaere (2016), and Demi-Leigh Tebow (2017).IMT
