Playing like well-oiled machines, Kaya Futbol Club-Iloilo hammered One Taguig Football Club, 2-0, in the 2024-25 Philippines Football League at the Iloilo Sports Complex.

Drawing the first blood, Vice captain Simone Rota led the Iloilo City-based booters in the opening half before it was followed by a connection from Martini Rey in the second half to secure the home win.

With the win, the defending champions Kaya Iloilo is currently at second place in the standings with 37 points, from 12 wins, two losses, and a draw, while One Taguig remained with 27 points, on eight wins, five losses, and three draws.

In another game, Dynamic Herb Cebu Football Club maintained their hold at No. 4 spot following 3-1 victory over Loyola Sparks Football Club-Victorias at the Dynamic Herb Borromeo Sports Complex in Cebu.

Dynamic Herb currently has a total of 27 points, from eight victories, three draws, and four defeats, while the Victorias City, Negros Occidental-based Loyola has 17 points on five wins, two draws, and eight losses.

Maharlika Football Club also scored a dominant 5-0 victory over Mendiola 1991 Football Club, while Davao Aguilas FC and the PFF Youth National Team battled to a goalless draw.

Davao is now sitting at sixth place with 21 points, Maharlika is currently at eighth spot with 15 points, while PFF Youth National Team and Mendiola are at ninth and 10th spot with 10 and five points, respectively.

Manila Digger Football Club continued to lead the standings with 39 points, including 13 victories and three defeats, while Stallion-Laguna is at fifth place with 24 points, on seven wins, three draws, and five losses.IMT Sports
