Parents and guardians can now pre-register their children for vaccination against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The Iloilo City Government announced the opening of the pre-registration for the pediatric vaccination on Thursday, Feb. 3.
It will be held at SM City Iloilo Southpoint in Mandurriao District from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon from Monday to Friday excluding holidays.
They should bring valid identification cards or birth certificates of their children qualified for the vaccination.
The pre-registration will be limited to city residents and those studying in the city.
To note, the city government is targeting to inoculate around 57,600 kids 5 to 11 years old.
Mayor Jerry Treñas said the city has prepared two mega vaccination sites for the pediatric vaccination. These are the covered gyms of Central Philippine University in Jaro district and of Ateneo de Iloilo in Mandurriao district.
There is no specific date yet as to when the pediatric vaccination in the city will start.IMT
