The province of Iloilo logged 39 cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the first month of 2025.
The cases, recorded from January 1 to 25 this year by the Provincial Health Office (PHO), were reported from 18 towns and the component city of Passi.
Passi City and Pavia registered the most number of cases at 5 each, followed by Dumangas, 4; Oton and Santa Barbara, 3 each; and Banate, Dingle, Duenas, Tigbauan and Tubungan, 2 each.
Ajuy, Badiangan, Barotac Viejo, Estancia, Pototan, San Joaquin, San Miguel, Sara and Zarraga posted one case each.
All the cases are classified as “active.”
