Displaying impressive forms and rhythms, Iloilo MVP Taekwondo gym wrapped up the 2023 Dinagyang Taekwondo Championships with blowout victories at the Western Institute of Technology (WIT) new site gym.

The Denmark Pinggol-mentored jins hammered thousands of jins around the region to take home the championship titles in the Grade school, Toddlers, Cadet, and Juniors division in the poomsae category.

Maria Beatriz Santos, Eujean Ivanka Castete, Jose Enrico Chan, Gian Pomperada, Joal Zebediah Rafols, Sheine Nicole De Asis, Cian Veddant Alonday, and Jhed Anthony Morata also showed a splendid performance to rule their respective games, snatching gold medals in the two-day actions.

Moreover, Iloilo MVP also received the overall championship trophies in the Grade school and Toddlers division of the kyorugi category.

For Pinggol, he said he said the tournament can be considered as a record-breaking event due to the number of participants that competed.
