The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) conducted a total of 15 anti-illegal drugs operations in June this year.
These operations, based on data from IPPO, resulted in the arrest of 51 drug traffickers, including six high-value individuals.
The arrested suspects yielded a total of 1,366.597 grams of shabu (crystal meth) with an estimated standard drug price of P9,292,858.92.
IPPO also apprehended 26 individuals involved in illegal gambling activities, 138 illegal fishers and 41 drivers in anti-illegal quarry operations last month.
Its sustained crackdown of loose firearms yielded 56 loose firearms, of which 17 were confiscated from police operations, 31 were surrendered, and eight were temporarily deposited for safekeeping.
Police Colonel Bayani Razalan, IPPO director, attributed these accomplishments to the cooperation between the police force and the community.
“We remain committed to our mission of ensuring the safety and security of our communities across the province,” he said.IMT
