His basketball career was tested during his debut in the PBA scene but Ilonggo star Kiefer Ravena is ready to prove his worth in one of the best leagues in the country.
The Iloilo City guard has agreed to a fresh three-year maximum contract with the NLEX Road Warriors, along with teammate Kevin Alas.
The backcourt duo Ravena signed their latest contract with the presence of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation president and CEO Rod Franco, NLEX head coach Joseller Guiao and NLEX vice president Ronald Dulatre.
Ravena was selected second overall by the Road Warriors during the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft. During his media interview, he’s thankful for NLEX for giving him another chance to represent the organization. “Rest assured we will do our best to represent the team with the best of our abilities,” he said.
Ravena and Alas served as the key for Road Warriors when they made a historic run in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup, where they reached the semifinals for the first time since joining the league in 2014.
But both cagers failed to suit up for the team with Alas going down with a knee injury and Ravena being suspended by FIBA.IMT
