Two universities in Iloilo City emerged as among the top performing schools in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) got the top spot in the elementary level with a passing rate of 98.65 percent. It had 73 passers out of 74 takers.
West Visayas State University (WVSU) ranked second with a passing rate of 95.58 percent or 108 out of 113 takers passed the exam.
In the secondary level, WVSU clinched the second spot with a passing rate of 98.21 percent. Out of 279 takers from the school, 274 made the cut.
A total of 71,429 examinees passed the exam out of 130,744 total number of examinees, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, May 24.IMT
