Isko unbothered by support of top Iloilo officials for Leni

Presidential aspirant and Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso is unbothered by the non-endorsement of Iloilo’s top officials of his candidacy.

Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. and Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas declared support for the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo.

“I don’t think ang mga mamamayan ng Iloilo, ang lahat ng mga Ilonggo ay hindi robot. Naniniwala ako nga there’s still human being and they know what to do and not to do,” Domagoso said in an interview on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

“Hindi tau-tauhan ang mga Ilonggo. Naniniwala ako ang mga tao ay mga karapatang pumili,” he added.

Domagoso was in Iloilo on Tuesday, Dec. 14, and Wednesday, Dec. 15, to attend a family reunion in the town of San Joaquin.

The mayor also paid a courtesy visit to Defensor and Treñas. He was joined by his running mate Willie Ong and senatorial candidates Samira Gutoc, Carl Balita and Jopet Sison.IMT
