A sole bettor from the town of Santa Barbara, Iloilo won the P10.8 million jackpot in the 6/42 lotto, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Sunday, Nov. 12.

The winning combination in the evening draw on Nov. 11 was 03-28-17-11-26-16.

PCSO did not reveal the identity of the winner for security reasons.

Lotto prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax deduction in compliance with the provisions of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.

The lucky bettor, under the Republic Act (RA 1169) or the PCSO Charter, has one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize.

“If the jackpot prize remains unclaimed after one year, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund,” the state-run gaming operator said.IMT
