Immigration employees behind the escape of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo have already been identified, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said.
“Very, very good idea. I have a very good idea… from BI (Bureau of Immigration),” Marcos Jr. said when asked if he already has an idea on whose heads will roll in the investigation on Guo’s escape.
The President said his administration will spare no one in the pursuit of truth.
Justice Secretary Boying Remulla is “almost finished with a very thorough investigation” on Guo’s case, he told Palace reporters.
The President said the Department of Justice will be able to “identify all of those who are involved in this.”
Earlier, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian claimed that the BI was aware of Guo’s escape but kept Marcos Jr. in the dark about her whereabouts.IMT
