President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will honor double-Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo along with other Filipino athletes who competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics in Malacañang tomorrow, August 13.
Yulo, who won two gold medals in the men’s floor exercise and vault events, will arrive at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on Tuesday afternoon, together with the other Olympians.
The athletes will then proceed to the Philippine International Convention Center for a welcome ceremony by government officials, followed by a heroes’ parade traversing key areas in Manila, ending at the Malacañan Palace.
Upon arrival at Malacañang, the sports heroes will be welcomed by the First Family.
Marcos Jr. will personally honor the athletes and present them with well-deserved incentives to recognize their extraordinary contributions to Philippine sports and outstanding performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.IMT
