A medical student is the latest fatality in the Ceres bus accident in the town of Hamtic, Antique.
Timothy James Quiachon died while being treated at a hospital in Iloilo City.
In a Facebook post, Quiachon’s sister, Katherine Ann, confirmed his death on Sunday, Dec. 10.
“Until we meet again my one and only dear brother Timothy James Quiachon. Ate loves you so much. No more pains,” she wrote.
The passing of Quiachon brought the death toll from the bus mishap to 19.
The Ceres bus was carrying a total of 28 people when it careened off the so-called “killer curve” and plunged into a ravine that was around 30 meters (100 feet) deep on Dec. 5.IMT
