Property giant Megaworld Corp. expects to raise P4 billion worth of sales from its newly launched 22-story residential tower inside the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park (IBP) in Mandurriao district.

Firenze will offer 415 “smart home” units equipped with wireless systems that residents can access and control remotely via a smartphone app.

Inspired by the Italian City of Florence, the condominium development is expected to be completed by 2028. It is specifically situated beside The Palladium at the northern portion of Megaworld Boulevard.

“We have chosen Florence as the inspiration of this new development because of its charm and interesting character that truly reflect what Iloilo Business Park has become through the years,” said Megaworld Visayas First Vice-President for Sales and Marketing Jennifer Palmares-Fong.

“This is the first time that we have a particular city as an inspiration for our condo in the township – not just Italian, but truly Florentine,” she added.

Firenze is the Italian name for “Florence,” the capital city of the Tuscan region in Italy, which is famous for Renaissance art and architecture.

“Italians are very passionate with what they do. That is why we decided to bring in the [Italian-themed] tower here in Iloilo because of the passion and the artistry that Ilonggos have,” Palmares-Fong said.

According to the company, units will range from up to 32 square meters (sq.m.) junior one-bedroom to a 60 sq.m. one-bedroom loft with balcony; two-bedroom units from 62 sq.m. up to 90 sq.m.; and 108 sq.m. to 132 sq.m. for the three-bedroom unit.

At the fifth level, residents will enjoy a host of top-notch amenities, highlighted by an Italian-inspired outdoor adult and children’s pool and pool deck surrounded by shrubs, vines, and medium-sized trees.

There is also an outdoor jacuzzi, symmetrical garden, pavilion, children’s playground, and an outdoor fitness area as well as a function hall with its own dry pantry and preparation area, fitness center with yoga room, game room, private dining room, and daycare center.

Future residents will also enjoy their time relaxing with their families or friends at the outdoor lounge located on the 21st floor of the tower.

Ferenzi will also have green and sustainability features, including low flow rate fixtures to promote water conservation, occupancy sensors in hallways to help conserve energy, a high energy efficiency rating for major equipment, a rainwater harvesting and reuse system, and a material recovery facility.IMT
