Majority of the personnel of Iloilo Hotel Restaurants & Resorts Association (IHRRA) properties have already been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Mary Ann Matiling, IHRRA president, noted that 95 to 98 percent of the workers of their 65-member association have received complete doses of the vaccine as of Oct. 14.

She also shared that almost all of the IHRRA members have been able to secure safety seal certifications from the government.

Safety seals are issued to establishments found compliant to minimum public health protocols against COVID-19.

“I am very happy because through this (certification program), we can ensure to our customers that health protocols are in place,” said Matiling.

The IHRRA president, meanwhile, thanked the city government, specifically Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, for the support to the business sectors.

“I know you’re in a very very hard position right now but thank you very much for reaching out to the business sector,” said Matiling.IMT
