Twenty-nine consumers More Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) took home cheques with amounts to the exact bill deposits they paid when they applied for connection with the power company 36 months ago.

Consumers like Elvira were all smiles as they received their cheques to certify they had religiously paid their power bills on time and without delay.

According to her, there is no secret aside from paying religiously to avoid disconnection and further problems down the road. Unpaid bills tend to accumulate and would cost their time and money if they get disconnected.

“Pag-abot sang bill dapat bayaran gid dayon para wala na delay,” said Elvira.

Each consumer shared their means on how to get by despite their struggles at home when it comes to paying utility bills.

“Gahimakas gid kami sang duha sang bana ko para mabaydan ang amon bill sa MORE Power,” said another consumer named Yolanda.

They went home with a perfect plan in mind on where to spend their refund.”Idugang ko sa kasal sang bata ko sa June,” said Jesus Diaz Llorico.

Retired Ilonggos who settled in the city, find a huge difference in the type of service they receive since MORE Power started operating.

“More is something else, definitely good service,” said Jose Dorego Jr.

This is the 21st batch of consumers who received their refund which ranges from P2500 to P8000, depending on the type of connection they have.PR
