Employees of MORE Power took a breather from work and poured their hearts out in this year’s sports fest.

The MORE Power SportsFest, the power firm’s annual  sports event, kicked off on September 30 and will run until the end of October.

Teams, composed of workers from different departments, compete in various friendly games.

MORE Power president and CEO Roel Castro led the ceremonial jump ball for the basketball game at the Western Institute of Technology Gymnasium.

“SportsFest is always part of our employee engagement. Sa mga bago who just joined us, be ready kasi lahat ng mga taga MORE Power, lahat competitive,” said Castro.

The sports event is part of the power company’s program for its employees who are tirelessly working to provide great service to their consumers in the city.

“With the teams collaborating with one another, nagaguwa man ang leadership capabilities sang mga empleyado. With the hinampang we hope magsinadya ang mga empleyado kag we hope develop ang iban man nga skills,” said MORE Power Human Capital Management vice president Daphne Karina de Pedro.

“Kung malipay ang mga empleyado mas productive sila sa ubra mas makaservice sila sa publiko,” she further said.IMT Sports
