New faces of a champion!
Taekwondo jins from Iloilo MVP Taekwondo Gym put a solid performance in the just-concluded Philippine Taekwondo New Face of the Year 2021 Speed Kicking tournament.
The Mark Pinggol-mentored athletes harvested 8 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze medals.
Showing the entire repertoire, Jeremiah Miguel Ong, Denzel Espadilla, Adrian Joseph Gajasan III, Eujean Ivanka Castete, Eduardo Adenic III, Sheine Nicole De Asis, Josh Karl Macahilig, and Alicia Sophia Gutierrez finished with 8 gold medals.
Shanen Anica Feranco, Alexis Araneta, Pearl Danielle Rosales, Francheska Isobelle Dunton, and De Asis got the silver medals; while Christian Pudadera, Akimeh Demavivas, Gabrielle Dominic Capadosa, and Shires Pastolero bagged the bronze medals.
For coach Pinggol, he said they are molding this new generation of MVPinians and its quite challenging for them since they are following the new normal way of program.
“MVP coaches are passionate and well equipped to handle this challenge. With this result I could say that we are on the right track and I’m confident that we can able to develop another batch of future young Champions,” he added.IMT
