Former Iloilo City councilor Plaridel Nava has been throwing tirades against Representative Julienne “Jam-jam” Baronda.
In his posts on Facebook, Nava called Baronda “mango” (stupid), “cheap”, “classless”, and “trying hard.”
Baronda is the city’s first woman congressional representative. She ran in the May 2019 midterm polls under the ticket of Mayor Jerry Treñas, whom Nava called his “enemy.”
On Aug. 15, Nava posted a photo of Baronda being prayed over. He wrote in the caption: “May you blessed with more brain. Amen.”
Three days after, he posted a photo of Senator Bong Go taking a “groupie” with other lawmakers, including Baronda.
The caption on the post said:”Na left out? Tani ang wala labot indi sagad dasuk. Mahilig ka gid mag-eksena. Para lang na sa apat ang groupie, bwisit na ang lima. #Cheap #Classless”
On Aug. 23, he uploaded again a photo of Baronda holding her mobile phone during a hearing on the proposed 2020 national budget.
“While other members of the committee are preoccupied with the discussion on the 2020 executive budget, ang kongresista sang la muy ciudad de iloilo daw lipong nga gusaw – hampang na lang sang ANGRY BIRD sa cellphone ubra nya kay wala may na intindihan. Pobre espiritu. #tryinghard #mango,” Nava wrote in the caption.
Another photo of Baronda was posted by Nava on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The photo’s caption said: “Let’s sing. ‘Malayo ang tingin, kasi walang laman ang utak nya. At ka pansin pansin, tulala ang aura nya…’ #mango.”
