There is no new case of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the province of Iloilo.
For five straight days, the province has not recorded a new COVID-19 case. The number remained at 15.
The Department of Health (DOH-6) confirmed on Monday, April 13, one new recovery in Iloilo.
The latest patient who recovered from the viral disease, according to Dr. Ma. Sophia Pulmones of the DOH-6, is WV12, a 22-year-old female from the town of Miagao.
She was already discharged from the Western Visayas Medical Center (WVMC) in Iloilo City.
Based on Bulletin No. 4 issued by the DOH-6, the patient had a travel history to Manila.
There are now two COVID-19 survivors in the province.
The first recovered patient is a 65-year-old male from Guimbal.
Of the total coronavirus-positive patients in the province, 6 (1 death) are from Lambunao, 3 (1 death) from Guimbal and 2 each from Miagao (1 death), Barotac Nuevo (1death), and Pavia.
In Iloilo City, the number of COVID-19 cases is at 5, including 1 death and 1 recovery. IMT
