President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. does not see anything wrong with the efforts of private individuals to raise P10 million as reward for information on the whereabouts of televangelist Apollo Quiboloy.

Quiboloy is still in hiding after being charged with sexual abuse and human trafficking.

“They want to help us bring a fugitive to justice. You know, he is a fugitive. He is hiding from the law,” Marcos Jr. said in a media interview in Rizal on Wednesday, July 10.

“If there are private citizens who want to assist the government in that effort to bring him to justice, I do not see what is any … he can question their motives as much as they want. But mag-pakita siya,” he added.

Quiboloy, founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ church, is wanted by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation for his alleged involvement in sex trafficking of young girls.IMT
