More than 30 traffic enforcers in Iloilo City were dismissed from service for their involvement in irregularities.
From December 2023 to June 2024, the Iloilo City Traffic Management Unit (ICTMU) terminated a total of 32 traffic enforcers.
These erring personnel, according to ICTMU head Uldarico Garbanzos, committed grave misconduct, extortion, and gross neglect of duty.
Garbanzos said the dismissal should serve as a “warning” to other traffic enforcers to perform their duties properly.
He, meanwhile, assured the public that they are acting promptly on complaints lodged with their office.IMT
