The province of Iloilo is looking for 300 new public school teachers.
Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. sent a letter to Schools Division Superintendent Ma. Luz M. de Los Reyes informing them of the job vacancies.
“This is open to all licensed elementary and secondary teachers who are bonafide residents of the province,” he said in the letter.
Those who are interested may submit the following to the Provincial School Board (PSB) Secretariat at the Office of the Governor:
- Application Letter
- Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212)
- Certificate of Residency issued by the Punong Barangay where the applicant resides
- Photocopy of PRC ID
- Certification from DepEd that the applicant is among those listed in the Registered Qualified Applicants
The submission started on Monday, April 3, and will end on April 24.
“The Iloilo Provincial Government advances the Equal Opportunity for All Principle. There shall be no discrimination in the selection, inclusion, or engagement of any applicant on account of gender, civil status, disability, religion, ethnicity, and political affiliation,” said Defensor.
Each hired teacher will receive a monthly allowance of P10 thousand from the Special Education Fund of the province.IMT
