The Public-Private Partnership Center (PPPC) has added Iloilo Global City, a project aimed at developing urban centers, to the pipeline.
The P18.3-billion project, proposed by Iloilo Global City Corporation (IGCC), is currently under evaluation by the Iloilo City Government, according to PPPC.
The city government will serve as as the project’s implementing agency (IA).
The proposed multibillion project, once implemented and finished, will “create new areas for living, working, and leisure all in one place, making everything easily accessible and convenient for everyone.”
“The overall development intent of the city side is to establish new growth centers, where everyone can have the live, work, and play lifestyle, with everything within easy and convenient reach,” said IGCC.
Aside from the global city project, PPPC also added 13 other projects, which brought the number of PPPs in the pipeline to 187 with a value of P2.64 trillion as of April 11.
Of the 14 new projects, 11 are local projects while three are at the national level. Four of these are unsolicited proposals.IMT
