Severe Tropical Storm Paeng (international name: Nalgae) left 29 dead, 1 one injured, and 11 missing in Western Visayas.

The figures were based on the November 1 Situational Report released by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC-6)

Most of the casulaties were from Antique with 11, followed by Aklan, 7; Capiz, 6; and Iloilo, 5.

Meanwhile, 348,780 families or 1,321, 601 persons were affected by Paeng, which caused flooding and landslides.

Capiz accounted for the most number of affected families in the region with 106,573 families, followd by Iloilo 100, 418; Aklan, 64,631; Negros Occidental, 40, 958; Antique, 36,056; and Guimaras, 144.

The typhoon damaged 5,853 houses in the region, of which 5,227 were partially destroyed and 626 were totally wrecked.
