The government will comply with the Supreme Court (SC) ruling on the transfer of PhilHealth’s excess funds to the national treasury for priority projects, according to a Presidential Communications Office (PCO) official.
During a Malacañang briefing, Palace Press Officer and Undersecretary Claire Castro said the administration is awaiting the High Court’s decision.
She assured that if the SC orders the return of government subsidies, the Palace will fully comply.
On the “zero subsidy” policy for PhilHealth, Castro urged the public to also wait for the court’s ruling.
