Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla believes there is a group behind the spread of fake news in the country.
“Yes. I think you also have the same guess as me,” Remulla said in a media interview.
He warned that fake news can destabilize society.
“Fake news is fake news. We all know that it’s bad to peddle fake news or lies. ‘Di maganda yan, especially that digital media has become a powerfyl tool. It can actually unsettle society,” he added.
Remulla also emphasized that it is everyone’s responsibility to speak the truth at all times.IMT
