A graduate of Saint Paul University – Iloilo (SPUI) made it to the Top 10 of the December 2024 Physical Therapists Licensure Examination.
Andrei Daylan Villaruz, a native of Iloilo City, ranked second in the list of topnotchers with a score of 90.40 percent.
In a statement, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas said Villaruz’s “achievement is an attestation of the hard work and excellence of every Ilonggos.”
“This milestone brings pride not only to your alma mater but to the entire city as we continue to celebrate the brilliance of our youth,” he added.
Meanwhile, the top spot was clinched by Raymund Carlo Arcobillas Masbaño, an alumnus of Riverside College in Bacolod City, with a rating of 90.50 percent.
A total of 1,206 out of 1,700 passed the exam given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Iloilo and seven other areas in the country.
