Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III has donated P1 million worth of construction materials, relief goods and hygiene kits to Iloilo City residents affected by Typhoon Odette.
The donation benefitted a total of 2025 families whose houses were totally wrecked by the typhoon.
Each of them received bamboo poles, corrugated iron sheets, blanket, mosquito net, sleeping mat, cauldron, nails, food pack, and hygiene kit.
The beneficiaries thanked Sotto for extending his helping hand to them.
Sotto, one of the vice presidential candidates for the 2022 elections, is the only donor who has no tarpaulins posted during the distribution on December 27 at Jaro Gym.IMT
