The celebration of Tourism Month in the province of Capiz was “successful” because of the support and cooperation of all the stakeholders.
Provincial Tourism Officer Al Tesoro said that activities held in Roxas City were participated in by all municipalities and the provincial government as well as schools that offered courses such as tourism, hospitality management, and other related courses.
“Diri nagapakita nga ang turismo mapasanyog nanton kon damo kag mabaskog ang partnership sang goberno probinsyal kaupod sang iya nga mga constituents,” Tesoro told IMT News.
Tesoro was thankful for the support of those who participated as the celebration gained a positive comments from the Capizenos and both local and national tourists.
Meanwhile, Tesoro shared that Capiz was declared 1st runner-up in the booth compitition during the Philippines Travel Mart held at SMF Convention center in Manila.
He said the province joined the competition in Manila to promote their tourism sites, tourism products, facilities and services.
He thanked Governor Nonoy Contreras and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan under the leadership of Vice Governor James “Mitang” Magbsnuas who supported the Provincial Tourism Office.
